Summary: We recently stayed at this hotel under the new ownership, and I can definitely see that they are trying to make improvements and create a better experience for their guests. The front desk staff was very nice, welcoming, and pleasant to deal with. I also really liked the addition of the warm cookies, which is a nice touch and something they didn't offer before. Little things like that show that the new owners are making an effort to make guests feel welcome. There are still a few areas that I think could use some improvement. One thing that would be especially helpful is having coffee available throughout the night for guests who may be up late or getting up early. I think that would be a simple addition that could make a difference. The hotel also no longer has a hot tub, but I understand that this is something the new ownership really can't control since it has been cemented in. There is still a pool, although it only goes to about four feet deep, so the pool area is somewhat limited. Overall, I appreciate the effort the new owners and staff are making. Not everything can be changed overnight, and I think they're trying to listen to their guests and make improvements where they can. With a few additional touches and continued attention to the guest experience, I think this hotel has the potential to be a really nice place to stay. Would I stay again? Possibly. I would definitely be interested in seeing how things continue to improve under the new ownership.
